CHARACTERISTICS OF WINKEL VULKOLLAN AND POLYAMIDE BEARING :
Winkel Offer two types of Bearings: Vulkollan Bearing and Polyamide Bearings.
Vulkollan Bearing:
When any System requires Speed + Silent Operation Vulkollan bearing is Preferred. The max speed of the bearing is 6 m/s whereas Std bearing has max peed of 1.5 m/s
Material Specification:
- Outer rings are made from case-hardened steel UNI 16 CrNi 4 hardened at 62+2HRC
- Inner rings are made from bearing steel En 31-SAE 52100 hardened at 62-2 HRC
- Cylindrical rollers have flat ground heads, made from En 31-SAE 52100 steel hardened at 59 – 64 HRC.
Advantages:
- Excellent resistance to mechanical wear.
- High rebound resilience, even in hard grades.
- Good tear propagation resistance.
- Low compression set.
- Good resistance to mineral oils, greases,
petrol and a wide range of solvents.
- Best dynamic performance of all
urethanes.
Polyamide Bearings:
When any system requires Speed + Force in operation Polyamide bearing is preferred. The max speed of the bearing is 6 m/s whereas standard bearing has max speed of 1.5 m/s.
It has higher load carrying capacity than Vulkollan Bearing.
Material Specification:
- Outer rings are made from case-hardened steel UNI 16 CrNi 4 hardened at 62+2HRC
- Inner rings are made from bearing steel En 31-SAE 52100 hardened at 62-2 HRC
- Cylindrical rollers have flat ground heads, made from En 31-SAE 52100 steel hardened at 59 – 64 HRC
Advantages:
- High wear resistance.
- High thermal stability.
- Very good strength and hardness.
- High mechanical damping characteristics.
- Good sliding properties.
- Good chemical resistance
